• Aloe Aloe comes from the dried leaf juice of one or more of the species of the aloe plant. It can be used as an anti-inflammatory, a treatment of mild abrasions and burns, and is traditionally a strong skin-conditioning agent. This natural first-aid can have a healing effect when used on the skin. We offer the HTA Pain Relief Spray that is available in a 4oz or 8oz size spray bottle.
Menthol is derived from peppermint oil, other mint oils, or can even be made synthetically. It is able to be applied as a very mild local anesthetic, used as a counterirritant, and gives a cool feeling to the skin after application. Menthol is in non-prescription products for short-term relief of muscle sprains, aches, and similar conditions. We have a wide selection of menthol based products including Sombra Cool Therapy and our Cryoderm Spray.
Camphor originates from the wood of the Camphor Laurel Tree. It gives a cool feeling to the skin with its' strong, penetrating, fragrant odor, and works as a skin-conditioning agent with its antiseptic and anesthetic properties. Camphor absorbs into the skin, providing a numbing effect to the peripheral sensory nerves, to help relieve pain. We currently carry several camphor items like our Tiger Balm Patches and the popular Kool 'N Fit Muscle Conditioning Spray.
Capsaicin comes from capsicum, the pepper plant or made artificially. It is a stimulant that helps relieve aches and pains by stopping the pain signals that are sent to the brain due to inflamed joints.
